Train-in Fishing
Algoma Country has train-in fishing? Yes, we sure do and for those folks looking for a remote Canadian fishing vacation, but don’t wish to fly in, our train in fishing is ideal! You will board the Algoma Central Railway Passenger train and be whisked through the remote recesses of Algoma in the comfortable surroundings of a train coach. You will load up your gear into the baggage car, and relax and let the Railway get you on track to your fishing trip of a lifetime.
There are over a dozen lodges located along the rail line, and each of these lodges are very unique, offering multiple species opportunities dependent on which lodge you visit. The lodges located in the southern portion of the rail system have world class brook trout and further to the north these areas lake are brimming with walleye, perch and the veracious northern pike! Imagine the shore lunches after a morning of fishing with these offerings!
The train will makes its stop at whichever lodge you choose and the friendly staff will meet along the rail line and bring you to the next part of your adventure, your fishing trip of a lifetime! From full American Plan first class lodges, to outpost cabins, whatever type of fishing trip you are looking for it is all located along the Algoma Central Rail!
