Wakami Lake Provincial Park

Wakami is a great destination park featuring a challenging, 4 day shoreline hiking trail 76km long and canoeing to remote campsites. Two shorter trails and one 75km backcountry hiking trail make for great hiking opportunities. Canoeists will love the 3 day canoe loop. There is excellent walleye and pike fishing, while there is plenty of whitefish to catch for a shore lunch.

The park’s historic logging trail marks the transition from horse logging to mechanized logging – a collection of actual logging equipment is showcased to teach visitors how logging was done 60 years ago.
