Hornepayne

Located on Hwy 631, 45 miles south of Hwy 11 and 61 miles north of Hwy 17, the town is a main division point of CN Rail and a favourite departure point for tourists taking the VIA passenger train to all points eastward and westward. In addition, we have two air services based on nearby Government Lake which serve the surrounding outpost cabin areas. Camping facilities are available at Nagagamasis Provincial Park, 20 miles north of town. A municipal airport with a 3,500 ft paved runway provides a necessary service for fly-in tourists and can accommodate a commercial airline.
