It is impossible to miss the transition from Summer to Autumn in Algoma Country. The leaves slowly turn from red to orange to yellow and eventually fall to line our forests and hiking trails with Canadian maple leaves until the snow does indeed come in December. Autumn in this area is breathtaking. A trip to the region will remind you just how powerful nature can be. Visitors are amazed at the drastic changes Mother Nature is capable of, and wowed year after year by the picturesque environment created for guests of the Algoma region.
When sticky summer temperatures start to fall, and cool northern evenings return to Algoma Country, most cottage resorts and lodges say goodbye to guests for another season and enjoy a well deserved vacation of their own. Feel like you missed out? Don’t fret, we’ve got you covered! Here we highlight a variety of autumn weekend getaways that are available at two unique operations in the region!
