AlgomaTrad Family Camp 2020 is moving online with concerts, classes, electives, and events coming right to your home. Camp will run Tuesday, August 11th through Friday, August 14th, A WIDE VARIETY OF CLASSES will be held during four periods each day, PLUS daily elective options will be offered.
Classes and electives will include: fiddle, tin whistle, guitar, cello, bass, clawhammer banjo, uilleann pipes, highland pipes, ukulele, singing, English concertina, Québécois and Ottawa Valley step dance, music production, calling contras and squares, growing your own food, fibre arts, community arts, plant-based cooking, pyrography (woodburning), blacksmithing demos, intro to birding, stitchin’ in the kitchen, and a daily children’s songs and stories period.
Recordings of all classes are included in the registration cost. Evening concerts by Louis Schryer, Sophie and Fiachra, The O’Schraves, Ian Bell, Ian Robb, Kerry Fitzgerald, Alanna Jenish and more.
