Vinta, a multi-instrumental quartet of phenomenal musicianship, will perform at the Old Town Hall, Richards Landing on Saturday, May 07, at 7:30pm.
Vinta is Nathan Smith (fiddle, guitar, vocals), Emilyn Stam (piano, fiddle, viola), John David Williams (clarinet, accordion), and Robert Alan Mackie (acoustic bass, fiddle), four brilliant performers and close friends at the cutting edge of European traditional music in Canada, including music from France, Quebec, and Scandinavia, as well as their own song and tune compositions.
Vinta has been making a name for themselves during Covid with some great online concerts, EP releases, and backyard appearances and are booked to play the Mariposa Folk Festival this summer. Here’s a chance to see them right here in Algoma.
