On the second day of our Summer Takes Flight festival, join us for some fun and entertaining programs. Our Summer Art Programming features a chance to learn to create art of various forms with local creators.
With programs like mosaic painting and writing classes.

Mosaic Painting
Elizabeth Moran
Learn how to create a realistic worn mosaic tile look with paint. It’s a process that Elizabeth did for Korah’s production of Mamma Mia in 2024 and then repeated for the Musical Comedy Guild’s production of Legally Blonde. You will learn the process of light and shadow in order to make the piece look like real tile.

New Beginnings: Taking Your First Steps into New Writing Avenues
Robert Downes
. A discussion panel on going into new areas and exploring new talents within creative writing. Learn all the tips and tricks from Robert Downes, a playwright, director and stage manager. Rob has written plays that have appeared in Toronto, Hamilton, Kingston, Stratford and Sault Ste. Marie.
ADMISSION
$5 ticket per person. This event is free for CBHC members, simply select the member ticket.
