At the Heart of the Great Lakes

Hilton Beach is a vibrant village that has been a popular tourist destination for over a century. The village offers many services such as restaurants, a general store, gift shops, a post office, a motel, a tourist park with cabins, hookups for trailers, a convenience store, a public computer site with high-speed and WiFi, a full-service marina, a public library and a hairdresser.

Many cultural events take place throughout the summer months. Arts at the Dock is one of the largest shows in Algoma and features the district’s best artists. The Hilton Beach Car Show is fun for the whole family. It features about 100 original, restored cars. The Old Town Hall concerts bring some of the best Canadian musicians. The Hilton Beach Community Night is the biggest event of the year with great food, fun games and a parade.

The Hilton Beach Marina is one of the largest in the North Channel and welcomes hundreds of boaters each summer. The full-service marina features over 160 slips and a clean/modern service building. The boardwalk follows the shoreline and is the perfect spot for an evening stroll to view the sunset or early sunrise.

There are many local parks and sandy beaches, picnic areas, public washrooms, and playgrounds. Enjoy great swimming or bring your camera to photograph the surrounding beauty and wildlife.
