This region is rich with diverse fish species that inhabit lakes, rivers and streams. Anglers to the region enjoy year-round fishing from the excitement of the walleye opener in May, throughout the summer months fishing for bass to fall fishing for brook trout. Winter ice fishing has anglers pulling in big trout and northern pike throughout the area.
