Historical tour upon arrival includes climbing to the widow walk for a panoramic view of Lake Huron’s North Channel. View the original journals and photographs of the five “Keepers of the Light”. The Lighthouse was built to serve the timber industry in Bruce Mines and today it guides the freighters into Trap Rock and the recreational boats into the marina in Bruce Mines. Today the lighthouse is a modernized housekeeping lighthouse for guests to enjoy with a panoramic view of Lake Huron.
