Staying by the Lakeside Cottages

Serenity starts here at Staying by the Lakeside Cottages (formerly the Three Oak Tourist Resort). Located on Gordon Lake, 12 km off the TransCanada north of Bruce Mines, ON, we are approximately 1 hour east of Sault Ste. Marie and 3 hours west of Sudbury in the heart of Algoma. Our 4-season waterfront cottages all have gorgeous views of the lake, mountainous terrain, islands and spectacular sunsets!

Newly renovated, our 6 classic cottages offer all the comforts of home: 2 bedrooms (bed linens & towels included), fully equipped kitchen, hydro, running water, heat & A/C, wifi & firestick TV (cottages 3, 4 & 5 only), full bathroom, propane BBQ (propane included), firepit (firewood included while supplies last), picnic table, patio chairs, and parking for two vehicles.

Our resort is perfect as a home base while working or exploring in the area (so many amazing day trip possibilities!), for intimate getaways with your significant other, or gathering with family and friends, accommodating groups up to 34 people. We’re pet friendly, too! Year round, you can expect a peaceful retreat in a clean and comfortable cottage, surrounded by beautiful scenery and nature, where you can rejuvenate, relax and reground.

Canoe, kayak, pedal boat & rowboat rentals available, or bring your own boat and moor at the shared dock.

Kids & pets will enjoy the warm, shallow water by the dock, and playing in the wide open 2+ acre yard.
