The Tunnel Lake Trading Post and Motel is located on Highway 129, north of the Trans Canada highway 17, 25 minutes north from either Iron Bridge or Thessalon will put you at our door and the gateway to the beautiful Mississagi Valley.
It has been said that the Trading Post has “Everything you need and most of what you want”. There are endless opportunities for fun and adventure in any season throughout the Mississagi Valley. Summer months are filled with world-class fishing, hiking, biking, climbing, and off-road adventures. Winter months bring ice fishing and snowmobiling opportunities.
There is ample opportunity for hunting in the fall starting mid-August with the Black Bear hunt. We cannot forget about Ontario’s own Tail of the Dragon Highway 129 as it runs north from the Trading Post. Motorcyclists flock to the highway all summer to enjoy the amazing views as the highway follows the mighty Mississagi River.
