Since 2007, Franco-Ontarian singer-songwriter Mélissa Ouimet has been setting the stages of Quebec and French-speaking Canada alight with her contagious energy and undeniable talent. Her self-titled debut album, released in 2016 on the Musicor label, marks the beginning of her recording career. In 2018, she self-produced the Amours jetables EP, a project that earned her the “Chanson primée” award at the Trille Or, consolidating her reputation in the French-language music industry.
Proud of her roots, Mélissa has become a strong voice in Francophone communities outside Quebec, notably with her song Personne ne pourra m’arrêter, which has become an emblematic anthem of Franco-Ontarian resistance.
