Sault Ste. Marie audiences can expect a night of glittering costumes, irresistible melodies, and pure joy when ABRA Cadabra-Vancouver’s internationally acclaimed ABBA tribute band-takes the stage at the Sault Community Theatre Center on Sunday, June 21 at 7:30pm. The band is produced by Moon Coon Productions, Inc.
For 25 years, ABRA Cadabra has been captivating audiences across the globe with faithful yet fresh performances of ABBA’s timeless hits. From “Dancing Queen” to “Mamma Mia” and “Take a Chance on Me,” the band blends meticulous musical detail with colorful visuals and an atmosphere designed to get audiences on their feet.
Unlike Anything Else
“We don’t try to pretend we’re ABBA,” said co-founder and lead singer Jeanette O’Keeffe. “We celebrate this music in our own unique way. We’re there to bring joy, connect people, and engage with our audience to give them the best experience.”
The result is a high-energy, family-friendly spectacle featuring a live band, dancers, dazzling costumes, and multiple wardrobe changes. Audiences are encouraged to sing, clap, and dance along, creating a shared moment of nostalgia and celebration.
A Show for All Generations
O’Keeffe says some of her favorite moments happen when she looks out and sees three generations of a family singing along together.
“We’ll have kids, parents, and grandparents all coming to the show together. They’re all singing along to the songs, and you don’t often find music that spans that many generations,” says O’Keeffe. “It’s one of the most heartwarming things for me.”
