On behalf of African Caribbean Canadian Association of Northern Ontario(ACCANO) We are inviting you to our 2024 Annual Black History Month Celebration Dinner.

Accano was formed in 2011 as a non for profit, non political, and non-denominational volunteer led group. Our vision is to foster and leave a legacy of our cultural heritage by contributing to the economic, social and civic development of Canadian society through active and equitable integration of our members. Black History Month is an opportunity to celebrate the achievements and contributions of Black Canadians as well as share the history and culture of Black Canadians.

The Dinner will be held on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 from 5:00pm at the Grand Gardens 1324 Great Northern Rd. The event will feature colourful and multicultural menu, live music, dance, art exhibits, fashion show, door prizes, and a cash bar among other exciting activities.

In celebration of this year’s Black History Month, ACCANO proudly presents our theme Building Community and Belonging. This theme highlights the importance of creating and fostering an intentionally welcoming and inclusive community for all.
