The Community Strong Festival team will be hosting our 3rd annual fundraising event weekend. This event is designed to raise desperately needed funds and bring awareness to physical and mental health challenges in our community.
Our event will consist of a variety of races over the course of the weekend as well as many family activities including a Boston qualifying marathon, half-marathon, 10km, 5km colour run, and 1km kids run in Sault Ste. Marie on June 22nd-23rd, 2024. The AFS Foundation is excited to partner with the Sault Ste. Marie YMCA to bring Sault Ste. Marie the Community Strong Race Weekend.

Colour Run: 10:00am
Kid’s Fun Run (1km): 10:30am (New in 2024)
USW2724 Special Forces Challenge: 5:00pm
Sunday, June 23rd
Marathon: 6:00am
1/2 Marathon: 6:30am
