Come celebrate 2SLGBTQIA+ PRIDE Month in Bawating with the 2Spirit Organising Committee and friends. There will be events for all ages, hosted and partnered with different allied organizations and groups.
Our tentative event schedule includes the following:
Friday 21st – 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Tabling at Whitefish Island for Indigenous Day
Saturday 22nd – 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Indigenous Artesian Market at Roberta Bondar Pavilion
Sunday 23rd – 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Bawating Babes All Ages Drag Brunch in The SpeakEasy at Algoma University
Monday 24th – 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Family Craft Night at the Youth Wellness Hub
Wednesday 26th – 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
2SLGBTQIA+ 101 Workshop at the Holiday Inn Express – Sault Ste. Marie
Wednesday 26th – 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Bead Night at Shingwauk Kinoomaage Gamig
Thursday 27th – 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM
2Spirit Community Sharing Circle at the Batchewana Teaching Lodge

2SOC Bawating is also looking for volunteers, as well as place to advertise our posters. Individual events will have posters or separate event pages, either hosted by 2SOC members or event partners.
